Otherwise I'm going to assume you either know me personally, or are a potential employer.

Many years ago when AWS first came about, it gave away a year's worth of hosting for free.

Being a developer and a Yorkshireman I accepted this gladly. My own server.. for free.

Of course over a decade later it's not free anymore.. it's not even the $8 it was for many years, now it's over $20.

So.. I have migrated the website to cloudfront/s3/lambda.

Hopefully this will significantly reduce my long term AWS bill!
